Holiday Closure

April 15

The Library will be closed Monday, April 15 for Patriot's Day.

New MVLC App

If you still have the old, inoperative version of the MVLC app, you'll need to update the app on IOS devices. For Androids, you need to uninstall the old MVLC App and redownload it from your app store.

Solar Eclipse Party 2024

Join Tyngsborough Public Library on April 8th for a Solar Eclipse viewing party!

We will meet at Sherburne Nature Center (46 Coburn Road) for the viewing. We will have a limited number of viewing glasses available at the event. You may also reserve a pair ahead of time (one per family), or make some following our instructions on our website.

Quilts & Blooms Reception

April 22 @ 4:00 - 7:00 pm


Join us for a reception to inaugurate "Quilts & Blooms," a display of beautiful quilts made by local artists and the floral arrangements that they inspired, created by members of the Tyngsborough Garden Club.

Light refreshments will be provided. The quilts and floral arrangements will be on display from April 22nd to April 25th.

Repair Cafe

What do you do with . . . 

  • A CD player that no longer opens? 
  • A toaster that no longer works? 
  • A sweater with a few moth holes? 
  • Bring them to the Repair Cafe! 

A Repair Cafe is a neighborhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Residents can bring their broken items in and, with the help of volunteer repairers, fix them.

Genealogy Club

Join us for a meeting of the Genealogy Club! All are welcome to explore genealogy with us.

The topic of the February meeting will be "What you should know before you buy a DNA Test" with Diane Laferriere, Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Inc. (MSOG) Treasurer. Located in the Town Hall Community Room.

Finding & Sharing Stories: A Workshop for Adults, Teens & Tweens with Davis Bates

April 27 @ 12:00 pm


This program will involve the audience in a variety of storytelling traditions. It will provide a number of tools and examples to help participants find, learn and share stories from a variety of sources, as well as information about how to use storytelling at home, school and at work. Exercises will include storytelling games, vocal techniques and guided imagery. Hand-outs, including follow-up activities and a resource guide, will be provided.

This program is funded, in part, by the Tyngsborough Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the MA Cultural Council.

Coloring Club
