Spotlight on CAP/Corbett Board Member Jesse Lucas
Creative Director of Riverside Productions, Jesse Lucas has served on the CAP/Corbett Board of Directors for six years to help facilitate the adoption of difficult to place and older children before they age out of the system and face homelessness or incarnation. "I have been amazed at the dedication of the core group of CAP, who have persevered through many challenges, in order to make a difference in the lives of this fragile segment of society. It is concerning to me how a young life can spiral in a devastating direction, and all it takes is someone to care enough to stop the downward spiral and secure their footing with a forever home." Thank you, Jesse!
In the News...
We invite you to read April's "The Empty Closet" magazine. Specifically, the article on p. 28-29 discusses government waivers overriding a Federal regulation that allows "state-licensed child welfare agencies to refuse to place and provide services to children and families, including LGBT people and same-sex couples, if doing so conflicts with their religious beliefs."

We are proud to be featured prominently, as is Matt, CAP adoptive parent. We always welcome families of any faith, belief, sexual orientation or gender identity.
The Cabral Family:
Our Latest Success Story!
The Cabrals, Andres, Erin, and Ray are our most recent adoptive family success. Erin was kind enough to do a Q&A with us.
