Dear Camp Families,

We hope all the families that celebrate Easter and Passover had a great holiday weekend with family and friends. Before we know it, we will be celebrating Independence Day on July 4th with fireworks at nearby Poland Spring Resort.

There are important reminders below about getting your child ready for the camp season so be sure to read the entire email. While the due date for most forms aren't until June 1st, don't wait to the last minute to schedule a doctor's visit or order any over-the-counter or prescription medication that may be needed.

Some campers who are on the wait list for Session 2, have decided to switch plans and attend camp during Session 1 or 3. If you are interested in that option, contact either one of us in the office. And if you are considering having your child extend into an additional session, contact us to check for availability.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you in less than 2 months.

Warm regards,

Brooke and Steven
Camper Transportation Form
Did you complete the Transportation Form in your CampMinder account? That's the only way we know how your child will be arriving at and departing from camp. If you haven't completed the form, please submit it promptly.

We offer charter bus service from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. There are options for round-trip or one way bus service.

If you are flying to and/or from camp, you must confirm your flights with the camp office before purchasing the tickets. Arrivals at Boston Logan Airport occur the day before the regularly scheduled check-in day. Departures from Boston Logan Airport occur on the regularly scheduled departure day.
Camper Medications
The Camper Medication Letter is available in your CampMinder account or by  clicking here  . We partner with The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy in nearby Lewiston to provide all camper medications.

If your child will be taking prescription or over-the-counter medication while at camp, you are required to order the medicine through The Medicine Shoppe.

The only fee for using this service is a $1 fee per prescription. Over-the-counter medications are the same price you would pay by walking into the pharmacy for the same purchase. Partnering with The Medicine Shoppe allows us to comply with State, Federal and American Camp Association regulations for the safe dispensing and handling of medication.
Packing List
One of the most time consuming parts of preparing your child for camp is buying clothing and supplies and then packing. To help you with that process, use the Packing List as a handy guide.  Click here  to download the packing list or you can access it in your CampMinder account. The list details what your child will need to wear and use. Here are a few helpful reminders -

•  Bedding  - pack 2 sets of twin sheets, pillow and blanket or use the Additional Options form to rent linens.

•  Sleeping Bag  - if you are renting linens we will provide one. All other campers should pack a sleeping bag. There will be campouts each session where a sleeping bag will be needed. For campers who are currently in 9th - 11th grades, you will need a sleeping bag for the overnight trip each session.

•  Footwear  - closed-toe shoes are required at all times except at the waterfront. Crocs, slides, flip flops and Birkenstocks are not considered appropriate footwear.

•  Bathing Suits  - Bikinis are not permitted at camp or on trips. Tankinis are acceptable, however they MUST cover the midriff. We recommend that girls wear appropriate one-piece bathing suits. Boys must wear appropriate length swim trunks.

•  Water Bottle  - The metal ones are ideal because they stay cold the longest. We have water stations throughout camp so campers stay hydrated throughout the day. And be sure to label the water bottle because many of them look almost identical.
Golf Lessons and Horseback Riding
Horseback riding and golf lessons are popular choices within our weekly elective program. Horseback riding is a double period for 2 hours while golf is a single period. Register by using the Additional Options Form in your CampMinder Account.

We partner with Wilsonbrook Farm to offer horseback riding instruction at their 100 acre facility with trails and hills, a round pen and an indoor arena for rainy days. Riding is an additional fee of $300 per week. Campers are required to wear pants and have sturdy boots.

Golf lessons are offered for first time players through advanced golfers. Instruction is at  Poland Spring Golf Course , where their PGA pros coach our campers. Golf is an additional fee of $150 per week.
