The Latest, Creative Addition to The Club has Broken Ground!

The FOREST is a kid-centric complement to the multi-purpose Roca Loca Lawn & Beach. 🌿⁠

The FOREST is being designed to follow the growing trend of “Nature Based Play”…in contrast to the common, man-made, plastic laden playgrounds that are the norm today. Our goal is to challenge children and ignite their imaginations by unstructured, natural play with the graduated physical challenges that was once inherent to childhood. Using almost exclusively repurposed materials, The FOREST will feature large stump climbing stations, old timey swings, slides, sand boxes, a fort, plenty of trees to climb and much, much more. Regional log "chainsaw” artists have also been commissioned to create kooky forest animals to watch over all the fun.

More on the completion date and Grand Opening to come. Please stay out of the FOREST playground area during construction. No Exceptions! For safety reasons the opening may be delayed due to reconstruction of LCRA transmission lines adjacent to the site. 🐻

Giving Our Youth The Tools Needed to Succeed

Helping today's youth become business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow...one lemonade stand at a time.

Lemonade Day is a community program hosted by The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce that teaches young people the entrepreneurial skills they need to start, own and operate their own business; a lemonade stand! Registration is free and includes a Lemonade Day backpack and access to lessons on business plans, loans, marketing, advertising, permits, and other important topics. These lessons will culminate with a grand lemonade stand business opening on Saturday, May 6th!

Don't have kids who want to participate, but want to support some local young entrepreneurs? Join us on the Hill Country Mile and all around Kendall County between 11am-2pm as we will have 150+ kids spread across town ready to sell you an ice cold cup of lemonade, fresh baked goodies, dog treats, lemon flavored ice cream, and so much more! Help us empower today’s youth to be tomorrow’s entrepreneurs!
