From the Celebration Meadow at Boyce Park, to the Waterfall Trail at Settlers Cabin and every natural wonder in between, your county parks help make up our beautiful planet. The Allegheny County Parks Foundation celebrates our planet every day by working to preserve these natural spaces. Join us in support of Earth Month as we come together and celebrate what matters most—our planet.
Help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 by Earth Day on April 22! We are grateful that Parks Foundation supporters and North Park users, Karen and Shawn Hanlon, have provided a matching fund to match all Earth Day donations, dollar-for-dollar, in hopes of inspiring you to support the Allegheny County Parks Foundation. All funds will go directly to supporting your county parks.

Ready to explore your parks this spring? Look no further! We are hosting a full day of free, family-friendly activities for all ages, sizes and abilities at South Park on May 20. The day will be capped by our annual fundraiser featuring your favorite craft beers and local food! Get out with your friends and family to try new (free!) activities in the park, then purchase a ticket to enjoy craft beer, live performances from Shelf Life String Band, local eats, and so much more! Don't forget, Pour at the Park is family-friendly with kids activities.

- Increasing the tree canopy in Hartwood Acres and South Parks
- Restoring the riparian buffer and eroded streambanks in North Park
- Conducting an ecological study of our streams in Deer Lakes, Round Hill, and Settlers Cabin Parks
- Removing invasive species in White Oak and Boyce Parks
