I don’t often get a chance to talk about Duran Golf Club in my HOA discussions, but, I am going to take this opportunity to really brag a bit on what they have achieved. When Duran was first moved into my department at The Viera Company and placed under my purview in 2019, I learned that the golf course was working on the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary certification. It was a years long project that included a lot of community volunteers and staff hours. Certification was achieved in March of 2020 and Duran recently went through the 3-year recertification process.

DURAN - It's More Than Golf!

Duran Golf Club is a popular community amenity located in central Viera that is open to the public daily. It is home to an award winning 18-hole Championship Course, which is designed to offer a challenging and rewarding golfing experience to players of all levels. In addition to the Championship Course, the Duran Golf Club also features a Development Center that includes Brevard County’s only lit Par 3 course, called Chippers Walk, a Driving Range, and a world class Academy of Golf.

For those looking to grab a bite to eat, the Tradewinds Restaurant is located in the clubhouse and is open for lunch Tuesday – Sunday from 11am-3pm with breakfast service on Sunday from 8am-1pm. The restaurant features a diverse menu of delicious options ranging from classic sandwiches and burgers to items with an island fare, a full service bar, and a covered veranda with outside seating. A great place to relax or refuel after a round of golf!

The Tradewinds Restaurant is also available to host any special event, whether you are planning a business meeting, banquet or wedding, the clubhouse is an incredible choice. With its stunning location, and attentive service, it’s sure to be a memorable experience for all of your guests. Come by and visit us for an exceptional experience!

These two-hour classes will help keep you informed about our history, governance, local ordinances, environmental issues and so much more....including the Roundabout.
