Library Announcements:

National Library Week & Finals Week

  • National Library Week is April 7th - 13th! The RHEC Library will be celebrating all next week by giving out swag, including free tote bags, notebooks, bookmarks, book-themed stickers, and 2GB flash drives (hurry, these go fast!). Folders of information about the library and the services we offer will also be available.


The library will also be holding a free raffle for RHEC students, faculty, and staff, for a chance to win a pair of Beats Studio Buds! Enter the raffle here. To thank you for being a current newsletter subscriber and reader, get an extra entry in the raffle by using the secret code: poetry


  • Duing the week of April 15th - 19th the Library will be giving away free "Finals Care Kits" to RHEC Students. These kits will contain goodies to help students through their final exams and will include snacks, study tools, stress relievers, and words of encouragement. Stop by to pick up yours!

American Poetry contains over 40,000 poems by more than 200 poets, drawn from over 1,200 printed sources. Eras and subjects covered include Colonial, Revolutionary and early American, romantic poetry, naturalistic and symbolistic poetry, and realistic poetry.


How to access: if you're using the RHEC network, via wired connection or wi-fi, you automatically have access.
