As we celebrate the spring season at Thanks-Giving Square, we are grateful for the countless volunteers, advocates, and partners that help spread the spirit of thanksgiving in our community. We hope you will join us for important upcoming events in April and May.
National Day of Prayer Luncheon tickets now available for purchase

The Thanks-Giving Foundation and its Interfaith Council invite you to the Thirty-Sixth Annual National Day of Prayer Luncheon on Thursday, May 4th at Eddie Deen's Ranch in Dallas.  

The National Day of Prayer calls all faith groups together to celebrate common ground and share prayers for our nation. This year's event explores the role of prayer in the 21st Century and will showcase prayer practices from diverse faith traditions within our community. 

At the luncheon there will be no assigned seats or reserved tables, since guests are encouraged to sit with and learn from others in the community. The Zoroastrian Association of North Texas will welcome members of the Interfaith Council to tour their facility in Flower Mound. Each congregational visit allows participants to build a greater understanding of faith traditions; during this visit participants will take part in the Zoroastrian "Boi" ceremony followed by a presentation and discussion.

Celebrating the season at the 2017 Spring Festival of Faiths
  
On Monday, March 20th representatives from several faith groups gathered at Thanks-Giving Square to share information about their celebrations of the Spring season. Along with music and fellowship, visitors were treated to  samples of unique food traditions. The purpose of this annual event hosted by the Interfaith Council is to share commonalities and differences between faith groups and to appreciate the mutual recognition of the rituals.
