Happy Easter Everyone!
I hope everyone has adjusted to the time zone change. Every year it seems to get harder and harder for me to adjust.  I'd like to think we could manifest a time where it will no longer be necessary to alter Nature's time clock. It's hard to imagine early Native Americans, or  Egyptians, or even Caveman finding the need to spring forward and fall back.

A great big thanks to everyone who came to our 13th Annual Tucson Trunk Sale. Thanks to all who braved the SXSW traffic to come see us and thanks to all our new SXSW attendees who found us and loved their experience. We introduced new products and opened up more display areas on our campus allowing us to show you more of what we brought back.  Watch for all the new trunk sale items in the store plus surprises we were unable to process in time for the trunk sale.

April is looking like a very busy time for us. Check out the details below but some highlights include I'll be giving a lecture on Sunday, April 14th at the Metaphysical Fair at the Holiday Inn plus, for the first time, we'll be a vendor in at the Texas Mineral & Fossil Show in Conroe, Texas at the end of the month, April 26th thru the 28th.  We're really celebrating Easter this year starting with our booth at the Austin Reggae Festival Friday, April 19 thru 21, our annual special Easter Egg Hunt here at Nature's Treasures on Saturday April 20th. plus our Earth Day celebration on April 22nd. Be sure to watch for some Eggceptional flash sales in our online store Easter weekend.

Some little tidbits about Easter, named after the goddess Eostre, it is probably best known as the Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus but also represents Spring with the coming back of life and even indirectly the Jewish tradition of Passover. Ever wonder how the egg and bunny ended up in all of this? The egg is simple in that it's always been an ancient symbol of new life and rebirth so it fits right in. The Easter bunny, on the other hand, was first documented back in the 1500's with a surge of notoriety in the 1700's, and finally in the 1900's, it was decided the bunny did such a great job of giving new starts to life that it would be a great official representation for regeneration of life.  With the egg best symbolizing rebirth, the two became a perfect pair so now they get to be our Easter basket accompaniments.

Think about where you are in your life and if a new stage or regrowth is happening, or needs to happen. Embarking on that new chapter this month will make your life so much easier.
