April has officially arrived, and with it comes this beautiful month of Spring! We are seeing more and more families and young adults coming to our island for their Spring Break. Thankfully, since each school system has its own break period, we don't experience the same types of crowds during this Spring Break season as we do during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Throughout April, cool breezes continue to provide a refreshing atmosphere, and the occasional showers bring relief from the heat of the sun. Maui Chef Wins Chopped
Food Network's TV show Chopped hosted Maui resident, Chef McKenna Shea, on Season 54. Shea currently works as Executive Sous Chef in West Maui's Pacific'o on the Beach and was crowned the champion of Chopped, which was aired this past month. We love seeing our Maui residents making a splash on the big screen!
New Bakery & Coffee Shop
Momona Bakery and Coffee Shop recently opened in Kahului (Central Maui)! The stuffed croissants and cinnamon rolls are so delicious, they sell out by 9am. We recommend checking out this local resident-owned coffee shop next time you're heading to or from the airport, or simply just for a delectable treat along your drive to explore other areas of Maui.
