Dear Austin Women Invest to Elect Members-

Good morning! We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. There is a lot to report this April with exciting website updates & events coming up and three new members to welcome!

The Executive Committee unanimously voted to change our bylaws this month with respect to candidate event voting. Previously only Steering Committee members were invited to vote on the Candidate Committee proposals to hold an event for a specific candidate. Effective immediately, ALL members at the EWA level with pledges of $3,000 and above will be invited to vote on candidate event proposals. Additional opportunities intended for Steering Team members only will be announced shortly.

Check out the new and improving Member's Only Page! We are working to provide a more user friendly experience with direct links to important information. Your feedback is always welcome! (Reminder: The password is at the bottom of every email.)

We are thrilled to welcome two new members to the group!

Debbie Dupre is a political activist but when she's not on the picket line, Debbie Dupré is heavily involved in the visual arts and is on the board of The Contemporary Austin and a circle member of the Visual Arts Center at the University of Texas. Debbie spent many years living overseas and while in the UK, Debbie earned a diploma in art history, in addition to her JD, and worked for the Royal Collection and owned and operated an art gallery in London, specializing in contemporary painting.
