What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a generic of Ozempic®/Wegovy®. It mimics the action of your own body’s incretin hormone GLP-1 that you already produce, which is the hormone produced by the intestines that helps people feel full after they eat and suppresses appetite. Semaglutide also prevents the release of glucose into the bloodstream, lowering blood sugar levels.

How Much Does Semaglutide Cost?

Semaglutide is in high demand across the country. Due to fluctuations in pricing from compounding pharmacies, pricing may vary and is dose-dependent. Currently, a dose starts at $150.

Visit and labs can be billed to insurance. Semaglutide visit cannot be combined with any other visit, physical, or med refill. Medication is prompt-pay only and cannot be billed to insurance.
