Come Get Curious with Curious George

Located on the 1^st floor of the Adventure Halls, our Curious George exhibit: “Let’s Get Curious” continues to spark wonder and curiosity about our world through hands-on, science experiences! Come experience this interactive math, science and engineering exhibit while it lasts!

Rethink the Future with the Earth Matters Exhibit

Located on the 3^rd floor of the Adventure Halls, Earth Matters looks to solve complex challenges and push your own ideas to new heights. Rethink a more sustainable future, starting in your own backyard as you can experience, the inner workings of a tree, listen and learn about endangered species and experience large-scale visualizations of changes taking place in our natural world. Learn more about the big issues, like biodiversity, rising global temperatures, and how to manage carbon emissions in this interactive learning experience.

April in the IMAX Dome Theater

In McWane’s IMAX Dome Theater with laser technology, visitors are not just movie spectators, they are a part of the cinematic adventure happening on screen. This Fall McWane Science Center has movies for the whole family—educational documentaries and feature length films.

Robotics Week @ McWane April 10-14

Robotics Week inspires students of all ages to learn more about robotics and other science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Few industries, combine so many creative and problem-solving skills in one place. Come celebrate the robotics industry with us and learn how exciting robots can be. Through hands-on activities, you will witness the variety of robots and their many uses! The McWane Education Team will be providing resources in robotics and STEM to allow everyone to experience the thrill of robotics.

Celebrate Earth Day - April 20th 

Join us on April 20, 2024 as we celebrate Earth Day (April 22) with special programming based around our lovely planet. Earth Day is the world’s largest environmental initiative and spans over 192 countries and over 150,000 partners! Everyone has a part to play in keeping our planet clean and safe! Come learn more through interactive programming how you can help make a positive change in your communities that will help the planet!

Volunteer Appreciation Week - April 24-28



It's officially National Volunteer Week! Join us this week as we celebrate the accomplishments of the McWane volunteer team and a few of the amazing individuals who help us spark wonder and curiosity every day.

Summer Camp Registration is OPEN @ McWane.org



Half-Day Camp: 4K–Kindergarten

(Campers must be registered in the grade they will be in September, 2024):

In one week of camp, young scientists will travel into outer space, explore the oceans, or construct towers and bridges.

Camp fees are $180 per week, and members receive a 15% discount. Membership must be active on the date of the camp to receive a membership discount. 

All fees are due at the time of registration.

Full-Day Camp: Grades 1–7

(Campers must be registered in the grade they will be in September, 2024):

From robots to the science of sports, and Legos to Minecraft, there’s something for everyone at McWane summer camps.

Camp fees are $345 per week, and members receive a 15% discount. Membership must be active on the date of the camp to receive a membership discount. 

All fees are due at the time of registration.
