Attend a brown-bag information session on Wednesday, April 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to learn more about Leadership and HCC's new Workforce Development & Trades Center and how HCC is committed to empowering students, strengthening the community, and fostering economic growth. The LHC seeks Community Impact Projects (CIPs) for the FY25 program cycle. A CIP is identified by a host organization, typically a non-profit organization or government agency. The host organization identifies an organizational issue or challenge and class participants research and propose creative, sustainable solutions. This experience is designed to be mutually beneficial for the host organization and program participants, helping them better understand community needs and a deeper appreciation for community involvement. Attend a virtual information session to learn more:



  • Wednesday, May 15 from 12 to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 29 from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, June 7 from 9 to 10 a.m.

Howard County's Office of Consumer Protection host the First Annual Landlord-Tenant Conference on Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Howard Community College/Duncan Hall. Gain valuable insights and best practices for navigating the landlord-tenant relationship.
