One thing we all care about is taking care of each otherās health! We are proud to say that we were the first packing house in Ventura County to host a mobile clinic to safeguard our folks here at Limoneira! Our COVID Mobile Clinic has been well-received and allowed 476 people to get their first dose on Saturday, February 27th, with their second dose end of March. Safety for everyone here is something we have always taken to heart, so we have been extra thrilled to be able to provide these sought-after vaccines easily and conveniently right here on the ranch. Cheers to everyone staying safe and healthy!

Food producers and retailers throw away large amounts of perfectly edible produce that fail to meet beauty standards, contributing to the environmental issue of food waste - and thereās way too much of it! Almost one-third of food produced ends up in the garbage ā¦. either lost or wasted, adding to $680 billion in industrialized countries (billions!) lost annually. Thatās why we think our dear āLemon Misfitsā¢ā whoāve been exposed to high winds and suffered some āwindburnsā are even that much more important. They are the perfect lemons for our customers who truly care about food waste and want to be as resourceful as we do! Plus, these lemons arenāt really misfits at all, no sir! Theyāre still as beautiful and delicious as their Limoneira lemon besties. And we all know that beauty is only skin (or peel?) deep!

What we love about The Plant-Powered Parents is their desire to provide good health to their children and themselves, and in doing so, discovered that plants donāt have to be a side dish! They put plants on center stage, and youāll find terrific plant-based recipes when you check them out. We canāt wait to see all of the Limoneira dishes coming this month. And Tyler really has taken the deep dive into the food scene! It started with his Air Force assignment to Idaho, but before we go on, thank you for your service, Tyler! Then, he started getting into the local food scene while he traveled the globe! So, look at what heās dishing out especially for our tour in April. FYI - More cities to come next month!

Perhaps we should say WHERE in the world? And we think weād love to be in Amsterdam, taking in all of these gorgeous tulips in bloom right now! Letās pretend we are, as it is beautiful TULIP season and the annual Tulip Festival is kicking off as we speak! There are countless flower fields full of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths everywhere ā as far as the eyes can behold! The Dutch countryside landscape views are a beautiful compliment to the colored fields. So, weād thought youād like to just enjoy the colors of the season and behold these gorgeous tulips - only in spring, folks. Only in spring!
