Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives (CSMARI) Project

The Town of Renfrew has been working with Kate Monahan from The Quiet Guiding Company and Becky Wright from Milestone Consulting on the CSMARI project. The Community Support, Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Initiatives (CSMARI) program is funded through a federal grant received in 2023. As part of the project, a three year plan will be created to guide the Town and create awareness around anti-racism, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. As part of the project the Town also hosted a Cultural Diversity event, conducted staff training and completed a community inspired art mural at the Visitor Information Centre located at 190 Mask Road in the Town of Renfrew. The Town of Renfrew is grateful for grant funding received through Heritage Canada to undertake the Community Support, Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Initiatives Project.
