Siembra Charter Schools Program Grant Recipient - Press Release

Dear Parents and Families,

As we find ourselves at the halfway point of the semester, I wanted to take a moment to share some important thoughts with you. With the mini celebrations of learning and family meetings now behind us, our students are gearing up for a well-deserved spring break filled with fun, relaxation, and reflection.

Project classes will resume on April 8th, we'll have a precious four week window for seniors and a five-week window for underclassmen before final celebrations of learning begin. It's during this time that the foundation for success in the semester's end will be laid.

I urge you to engage in a meaningful conversation with your student during this break about the significance of finishing the semester strong. Remind them of their goals, encourage them to stay focused, and emphasize the importance of staying disciplined in their studies.

Thank you for your continued support in guiding our students toward academic excellence. Here's to a rejuvenating and enjoyable spring break for you and your family.

Warm regards,

Derrick Adkins

Director of Curriculum & Instruction

April Community Learning Day

We are excited to announce that our next Community Learning event will take place on April 13, 2024. On this day, students will have the opportunity to participate in the 31st Annual Cesar Chavez & Dolores Huerta Celebration. This event holds immense cultural significance and provides a platform to honor the legacy of two remarkable individuals who have made profound contributions to civil rights and social justice.

Please mark your calendars and make arrangements for your child to attend this enriching experience. Participation in community events not only broadens perspectives but also instills values of empathy, solidarity, and activism in our students.
