Dear Members,
Today I was honored to represent you the members/donors to the Plantation Community Foundation. Today we awarded $120,000 to 46 charities operating in South Sarasota County. We gave the grants to our selected, (through due diligence by our Grant Committee), charity recipients at a 9:00 am and 10:00 am breakfast. We ended the 10:00 award breakfast with a special impact grant presented by Donna Kubik, on behalf of Tom Kubik benevolent fund, to Neuro Challenge. All the charities have specific uses for their grants. The need is NOT getting any less out in our South County community. The need continues to grow. Their expressions of gratitude are something to behold.
I am so grateful for your continued support of the foundation with your membership and participation in our Fundraiser “Casino Night” last fall. We hope you continue your support by attending our “Black and White Party” November 7th.
