Baby Shower Edition
In March, we were able to celebrate our client and friend, Ashley!
Center Point Church graciously hosted, and filled the room with gifts and women from the church. It was such a lovely afternoon, as we got to give Ashley her first ever baby shower, despite this being child #4 for her.
Center Point went above and beyond in their giving that we were able to fill 3 SUVs with gifts for Ashley and her soon to arrive baby boy!

Ashley came to My Life Clinic in December of 2022, being referred for resources from Love Columbia. We sat down to hear her story, and quickly learned that despite her tough past 5 years, she was determined to be a great mom to this new baby. That December marked 2 years sober from a drug addiction that lead to her 3 prior children being sent into foster care. In those two years of being clean, Ashley had regained custody of her 3 year-old boy, while her older two children were adopted out. This pregnancy, she said, was going to be different.
In the past 4 months of knowing Ashley, we have been so impressed by her maturity, perseverance and kindness. She has continued to fight for her sobriety, her little boy at home and her little boy in her womb. She comes weekly to our parenting classes and is always gracious with our staff. We see God's redemptive power in her life and continue to be encouraged by it. Ashley is due in April! Please join us in praying for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby boy.
