Having a Garden Party
On Saturday, March 30, 2019, the gardening season for 2019 officially began in the Cordata Neighborhood Community Garden as plot-holders prepared their gardens for this years growing of a bountiful abundance of vegetables. Almost all of the 50 garden plots are subscribed. If you are interested in a plot this season, contact Kaitlin Schanken at mschanken@gmail.com Two of the plots were rented by Whatcom Community College for a student project with the vegetables grown in them to go to the Orca Food Pantry located at the college. Here's some photos taken by Ralph Myers of the Saturday Garden Party.
