In addition, we want to ensure that everyone has completed the U.S. 2020 Census. This will help to determine funding for our community during the next 10 years. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Impact Survey Click here or scan the QR Code on the right to participate in a survey that will help evaluate the impacts to the Harris County business community from the coronavirus. Participation in the survey is voluntary. The survey is provided by the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management.

Coronavirus Resources

State Representative Jarvis Johnson, District 139, has developed a 26-page guide with health, education, employment, and community resources for the coronavirus. Click here to view the guide. The guide will be updated every two weeks and posted on his Facebook page to reflect any changes. Texas Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, District 29, has numerous bilingual coronavirus resources on her website with information about stimulus checks, unemployment benefits, food assistance and more. Your Response Matters!

Have you completed the 2020 Census? Your response matters. Health clinics. Fire departments. Schools. Disaster recovery. Affordable home development. Roads and highways. The census can shape many different aspects of our community. Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year. The results determine how many seats in Congress each state gets. Our community loses $10,000 over the next 10 years for each person not counted. Getting a complete and accurate count in 2020 requires everyone's help. You can respond online or by phone in 13 different languages. Mail responses are also accepted. We are continuing to update our restaurant guide. Click here to view the operating hours and takeout / delivery services of restaurants in the Greater Northside. Please support these restaurants by using takeout and/or delivery. All restaurants are required to observe City and County guidelines, including social distancing of 6 feet.
