Weekly Prayer Focus: Military Families



Wednesday Evening:

Small Groups, Parenting Class, & Costa Rica Fundraiser Meal

Wednesdays, 6:00pm (Dinner at 5:00pm)

This week, we continue our Wednesday evening parenting class. This class will cover the range of parenting from toddlers to adult children to grandparenting, concluding on April 24.

Small Group Opportunities

Small Groups are a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and grow closer to Jesus Christ. Find the list below of all classes!

Fundraiser Meal this Wednesday 

Our Costa Rica team will host this week’s Wednesday evening meal as a fundraiser for the upcoming mission trip! Also, frozen quarts of brunswick stew will be available for $10 each if you’d like to take some home. Thank you for your support!

Menu: Brunswick Stew, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Loaded Potato Salad, Caprese Salad, Apple Crisp and Ice Cream

Memorial Brick Pathway: Bricks Available this Sunday

Beginning Sunday, April 21, we will begin the process of updating our Memorial Brick Pathway that was previously near the Activities Center (removed due to construction). The new pathway will be between the Sanctuary and Education buildings (along the edge outside of playground) and will be installed this summer/fall to include the existing bricks from storage as well as new engraved bricks.

The first step of this process is making new bricks available for purchase in memory/honor of a loved one. This Sunday, you will find a table in the Gathering Lobby with the necessary form to specify the wording you'd like to have engraved on brick(s). Barbara Nelson will be available at the table to assist, as there are specific guidelines on how many characters can be used (3 lines, 20 characters per line). Each brick is 4x8" and costs $50. Payment will be due via check/cash/card when your form is turned in.

We look forward to adding this beautiful asset to our campus as a way to remember and honor those we love.

Next Adventure Celebration

Next Sunday, April 21, 4:00pm

Elementary families are invited to an afternoon of food, fun, and friendship as we say farewell to several families who are moving on to new adventures! No cost for this event. 

Elementary Spring Musical: The Sailor's Bible

All are invited to an evening of musical celebration as our kids present "The Sailor's Bible." Come and support our kids as they remind us of God's mighty works!

Senior Adult Lunch n' Learn: Save the Date!

Monday, April 29, 10:30am

Join Master Gardener, Jerry Patee and Audubon Society Committee Chair, Karen Stanmore, for a presentation, "The Birds and Bees... for Seniors." Featuring stunning photography along with Biblical evidence of how God's glory shines in our connection to the natural world around us. So, flock on over to the Sanctuary on April 29... You will definitely want to BEE there! Lunch is provided.

Future, Family, Finances, Fashion... Worry comes at different times and seasons in our lives. Our current sermon series is called "The Worry Box," turning to God's Word for wisdom on how to navigate life's uncertainties.

Transformance Fitness



Transformance is a strength training class for children and adults that takes place each Monday and Thursday in the Activities Center at various times throughout the day. $75/month or $15/day. See more by visiting our website.

Activities Center Yoga

Tuesdays weekly

If you are looking for a way to build strength, flexibility, and balance, come check out the Tuesday morning yoga classes available in our gym. Becca Schmidt offers Gentle Yoga from 8:30-9:45am and Chair Yoga from 10:00-11:00am. All classes are on a drop-in basis. The cost is $5 for Gentle Yoga and $3.50 for Chair Yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and beach towel, and wear comfortable attire. No matter your age, you can find a class that suits your needs. If you have any questions, contact the church office to be connected with Becca!

Sunday School Classes

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting

Tuesdays at 8:30am

You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to prayer@perdidobay.church or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk. 

Prayer lists are available to be picked up at the Hospitality Desk.

PBUMC Kids Ministry (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)

PBUMC Kids Ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. Wednesday evenings we gather from 5:00-7:00pm. Email holly@perdidobay.church to be placed on our email list so that you can stay up to date about upcoming activities.
