RA Seats New, Returning Board Members

The 2024-25 Reston Association Board of Directors was officially announced at the Annual Members’ Meeting held on April 9, following the 2024 Election. Those winning seats and/or re-elected to their seats are:

Izzy Santa: At-Large Director
Jalal Mapar: At-Large Director
Jennifer Jushchuk: South Lakes District Director
Margaret Perry: Apartment Owners’ Representative

At its organizational meeting on April 10, the Board gathered to select its officers for the new term.

The Board officers are:

Jalal Mapar, President
Trevor Grywatch, Vice-President
Izzy Santa, Secretary
Robert Petrine, Treasurer*

*Mr. Petrine stepped down from the Board of Directors after his term on April 9; however, he accepted the nomination to continue to serve as the Board’s treasurer.

Share Your Thoughts on the RA Budget

As we prepare for the drafting of the 2025 budget, the RA staff is keen to hear from you. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable in shaping our priorities and plans for the upcoming fiscal year. Whether you have ideas for enhancing existing services or introducing new ones, we want to hear from you.

All suggestions will be thoughtfully reviewed by the Board of Directors, taking into consideration the financial resources available. Your input will help us prioritize potential additions or improvements for inclusion in the forthcoming budget, set to be finalized in the fall of 2024.

To contribute your suggestions for the RA budget, please fill out the online form. We kindly ask that you provide detailed descriptions of your ideas, including their intended location, purpose, and estimated costs or cost savings. Once completed, you can submit the form via email to RABudget@reston.org or by mail to Reston Association, ATTN: RA Budget Suggestions, 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20191.
