UWF's BRIGHT IDEA

UWFaith’s “Bright Idea” Fundraiser is underway. To support JUST ENERGY 4 ALL, donate a certain amount of your choosing per light bulb in your home. Mail or bring your check to Dayspring, made out to: United Women in Faith.

Ways to Save Energy:

  • Replace your light bulbs – LED bulbs use 90% less energy than incandescent light bulbs (you could replace as you count!).
  • Use energy saving smart power strips – phantom energy (5-10% of residential energy use) is electricity used even when electronics are turned off.
  • Install a programmable or smart thermostat. It can save 8% off your cooling and heating bill by using less energy.
