Congratulations to ISB Executive Director Soumaya Khalifa for being named as a 2019 “Women Making a Mark” by the Atlanta Magazine in their June edition. She was recognized for building bridges of understanding between Muslims and the wider community.

Khalifa founded the Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta and provides Muslims with training and poise in public speaking. Khalifa believes she can help create a positive relationship between Muslims and the wider community. “The more we educate, the more we outreach, the more we talk to each other, the more we can be helpful for the future,” she says.

Summer Lunch Program: Volunteers Needed!
It's that time of year again! Every summer, dedicated volunteers from the ISB and the Islamic Community Center of Atlanta (ICCA) join local churches and synagogues to provide free lunches to school-aged children in Fayette County. Our teams of volunteers work together to prepare and serve meals to children on summer vacation who normally receive free lunches during the school year.

Help support our summer lunch program: please email us for details . Thank you to our partners, ICCA, donors, volunteers, and drivers who have been dedicated to making our program a success!
