Anthem Structural Engineers is working with The Ford Studio: Architecture + Interiors on Aperture in Louisville, Colorado and are grateful to be on this project team! We love working with steel! Hausmann Construction is the general contractor, and we'd like to thank them for their hard work and attention to detail erecting this structure. Sheela Vedula has been instrumental on this 31,000 sq. ft. industrial office building project from its beginning.

Sheela has a strong passion for the integration of sustainable building design, life cycle analysis and structures. Sheela has applied her engineering experience to structural design around the world. In Kathmandu, she worked on important recovery efforts following the 2015 earthquake, and in 2018 she traveled to the Philippines to develop resources to aid in the seismic retrofit of at-risk structures. She joined the Anthem team in 2019.

Luxury Custom Home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado

This modern custom home in Steamboat Springs utilizes a lot of exposed structural framing elements (wood and steel beams and columns) to achieve the desired architectural finish. Coordination with the contractor and design team was critical on all large glazing elements where exposed framing was utilized surrounding glazing. Vertical Arts Architecture is the architect-of-record.

Luxury Custom Home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado

This home had extensive glazing and required careful consideration of lateral resisting elements via multi-story moment frames and utilized several diagonal vertical braces to support large roof overhangs. Berglund Architects, LLC is the architect-of-record. The project architect is Brian Klatt, AIA.
