Pool Safety and Reminders

We are thrilled to see so many residents enjoying the pools since they opened Memorial Day weekend. For the safety and enjoyment of all pool patrons, we ask that residents abide by the pool rules while enjoying the facilities. As a reminder, children under 14 must always be accompanied by an adult, diving of any kind is prohibited and alcohol is never allowed at any pool. To see the full list of pool rules, see the link below.

Pool Rules

Did you know thunder and lightning require us to temporarily close pools? In the event this happens, pools will close in 30 minute intervals until the weather clears.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Mulch, Mulch & More Mulch!

This month's community standards corner is all about mulch. Did you know that mulch reduces weeds? Studies have found that weeding time is significantly reduced through the use of mulch. Mulch retains moisture and keeps your plants cooler. In Daybreak, the preferred mulch is dark brown or black wood mulch. Wood Mulch breaks down over time and can improve the quality of your soil.

New guidelines on rock mulch: it can be in the park strips, in your 2-foot planter beds in your alley and the 2-foot beds behind privacy fences. Like with all exterior modifications, please remember to apply for these modifications.
