Tiffin University Kicks Off LIFE@TU
A series of Lifelong Learning was kicked off on Friday as the inaugural season of LIFE@TU held its first session!
The theme of presentation was criminal justice and participants heard from Michael T. Curtis of Tiffin University's Cold Case Program and David Siler, a TU Alumnus, of OCDETF Cleveland Strike Force. These knowledgeable speakers discussed techniques used to solve cold cases, provided insight into the importance of of public engagement in cold case investigations, and shared the fascinating story of how the oldest fugitive case of the U.S. Marshals Service was closed.
It was a full house of community members eager to learn and we are so excited to be a proud sponsor of this initiative meant to build the bridge between our educational institutions and the surrounding community. Thank you to everyone who has made this program possible and we cannot wait to see its success and future growth to come! For more pictures of the day and to learn more, click here.

Heavenly Pizza-Tiffin Ohio, a beloved pizza institution with a rich history, is excited to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for their new future location and corporate headquarters at 68 West Market Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 this Wednesday, September 13 at 4 PM. The ceremony evening will be filled with joy, delicious food, celebrations, and community fun. Guests will be treated to complimentary Heavenly Pizza and additional activities.
Heavenly Pizza has been serving up scrumptious pizzas in a positive work environment for over four decades. The story began in Tiffin, Ohio, in 1981 (42 years ago) when John Hill, the founder, envisioned a pizza place, quality food that satisfied people's taste buds and nourished their spirits. Having worked in various pizza establishments during his youth, John wanted to create a different atmosphere of significance for his employees and customers.

Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Pan Yan Bookstore!
Pan Yan Bookstore is a small, independently owned bookstore in the heart of downtown Tiffin at 144 South Washington Street in the historic Empire block. Pan Yan Bookstore, named after the first established business in Tiffin, Pan Yan Tavern, pays tribute the the community's roots while providing a much needed shop and experience to the county and surrounding areas.
When you walk through the doors you’ll find a wide selection of new books, used books, free wi-fi, hot and cold drinks, locally made cookies, and so much more. DORA beverages, outside food, and delivery are welcome as inside Pan Yan is more than a bookstore, but a community all its own.
Friday marked their ONE YEAR anniversary of being in business! In addition to amazing deals on both used and new books, they also have specialty candles and fun surprises planned, so make sure to stop in to help celebrate!
Thank you to Pan Yan Bookstore for filling a need in the community and being a welcoming environment to all. We love having Pan Yan as a Chamber member and congratulations on many more years of success! Learn more here.
