As part of our Annual Mandatory Anti-Harassment training, the Office of Human Resources is providing training using Virtus Online. All employees are familiar with Virtus Online as the online platform used to register for Protecting God’s Children training.

All employees of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center will be assigned one training module that will educate and inform about harassment behavior in the workplace. This training will be assigned and completed annually.


Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Which training will I be assigned? Employees in non-supervisory roles will complete Anti-Harassment Online Training Module 2.0. Employees in supervisory roles will complete Anti-Harassment Training Module 2.0 -Manager Expansion. A brief summary of each course is provided below.

  • Is there a deadline for completion? Yes, the training module should be completed by April 22, 2024.

  • How will I be notified? On Thursday, April 11, 2024, you will receive an email directly from Virtus Online (system@virtus.org) that will provide your Virtus log in credentials, a link to your assigned training, and a link to reset your password, if necessary. The email address used to create the Virtus account may not be your RCAN email address, so check your personal emails, as well as spam folders.   • When will I complete the training? The training modules will be completed during the workday. Coordinate with your Supervisor to schedule a mutually convenient time.

  • Will I receive a certificate? Yes, once the module is successfully completed, a certificate will be available to download and save as a PDF. You will email your certificate to bartosz.fryckowski@rcan.org, and CC your supervisor.

  • Does each module have to be completed in one session? No, you can stop and start the training as often as needed until completed. NOTE: Please do not attempt to "fast forward" any of the videos or lessons, as it can compromise the progression of the video.

  • Where can I review the Harassment Policies for the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center? The Harassment and Sexual Harassment policies can be found in the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center Employee Handbook, sections 5.8 and 5.9. Click here to access the handbook.

Anti-Harassment Training Module 2.0™: This anti-harassment training covers the different types of verbal and non-verbal harassment, prevention and proper response, best practices for a positive work environment, and the complaint process, retaliation, and resources. This module will take approximately 65 minutes to complete with variation due to the individual's case-study comprehension.

Anti-Harassment Training Module 2.0_Manager Expansion™: This module is an extension to the Anti-Harassment Training Module 2.0™, specifically for managers and supervisors. Managers and supervisors first participate in the Anti-Harassment Training Module 2.0™, then transition to the add-on Manager Expansion. This module has case study examples and interactive questions to evaluate comprehension. This combined module will take approximately 95 minutes to complete with variation due to case-study comprehension.
