Renewed in the Spirit – 2024 Episcopal Address

Dr. Chilcote focused on themes of spiritual renewal, healing, and unity within the United Methodist Church. “You and I are the shining lives of God's restored children and have a critical role to play in the unfolding of God's reign.”

Laity Address

John Esquivel reflects on his eight-year tenure as Texas Annual Conference Lay Leader, expressing deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve. In his address to the Texas Annual Conference, Rev. Dr. Michael Beck highlights the approach of creating church in unconventional spaces to reach people who are disconnected from traditional church settings. He emphasizes the need for the church to be present in the everyday lives of people, meeting them where they are rather than expecting them to come to church buildings.

Memorial Service

Rev. Deborah Hawboldt's message at this year's memorial service was focused on honoring the lives and legacies of departed saints who significantly impacted her life and ministry. It was a beautiful service and worth seeing if you missed it.
