The 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund is pleased to announce the launch of the United States-Brazil Climate/Inclusive Education Grant Competition (100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE). This new grant competition is generously supported by the U.S. Mission-Brazil, and Brazil’s National Service of Industrial Training (SENAI), along with the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
This new bilateral 100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE competition is offered during the year of the Bicentennial celebration the diplomatic relations between Brazil and the United States, highlighting the collaboration of both governments to offer innovative exchange and educational programs for both countries.
Eligible Countries & Program Areas
Higher education institutions in the U.S. and Brazil are invited to participate in an exciting opportunity. HEIs must work together in teams to design and carry-out proposed innovative, inclusive student/faculty exchange and training programs in various thematic areas of study focused on addressing climate related challenges.

Available Awards
This 100K Strong U.S. - BRAZIL CLIMA/IE competition will award seven (7) grants, of up to $40,000 each, to support the creation and implementation of innovative, inclusive student and faculty exchanges as well as climate-action training programs between the United States and Brazil.
