The 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund is pleased to announce the launch of the United States-Brazil Climate/Inclusive Education Grant Competition (100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE). This new grant competition is generously supported by the U.S. Mission-Brazil, and Brazil’s National Service of Industrial Training (SENAI), along with the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

This new bilateral 100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE competition is offered during the year of the Bicentennial celebration the diplomatic relations between Brazil and the United States, highlighting the collaboration of both governments to offer innovative exchange and educational programs for both countries.

Higher education institutions in the U.S. and Brazil are invited to participate in an exciting opportunity. HEIs must work together in teams to design and carry-out proposed innovative, inclusive student/faculty exchange and training programs in various thematic areas of study focused on addressing climate related challenges.

This 100K Strong U.S. - BRAZIL CLIMA/IE competition will award seven (7) grants, of up to $40,000 each, to support the creation and implementation of innovative, inclusive student and faculty exchanges as well as climate-action training programs between the United States and Brazil. 

O 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund tem o prazer de anunciar o lançamento da O Concurso de Subsídios para Educação Inclusiva/Clima Estados Unidos-Brasil (100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE). Esse novo concurso de bolsas é generosamente apoiado pela Missão dos EUA no Brasil e pelo Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI), juntamente com o Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs do Departamento de Estado dos EUA.

Essa nova competição bilateral 100K Strong U.S.-Brazil CLIMA/IE é oferecida durante o ano da celebração do Bicentenário das relações diplomáticas entre o Brasil e os Estados Unidos, destacando a colaboração de ambos os governos para oferecer programas inovadores de intercâmbio e educação para ambos os países.

As instituições de ensino superior dos EUA e do Brasil estão convidadas a participar de uma oportunidade empolgante. As IES devem trabalhar juntas em equipes para projetar e realizar propostas de programas inovadores e inclusivos de intercâmbio e treinamento de alunos e professores em várias áreas temáticas de estudo com foco na abordagem dos desafios relacionados ao clima.

A intenção do concurso 100K U.S. - BRAZIL CLIMA/IE é conceder sete (7) subsídios de até US$ 40.000 cada para apoiar a criação e implementação de intercâmbios inovadores e inclusivos de estudantes e professores, bem como programas de treinamento em ação climática entre os Estados Unidos e o Brasil.
