Meet the Makerspace Specialist
Emma Kornetov is excited to join the Gunn Memorial Library and Museum as the new Makerspace Specialist. A librarian, archivist, and lifelong crafter with a love for sewing, graphic design, and paper crafts, Emma is eager to combine her passions and help develop a vibrant community-centered space where people of all ages can share ideas, learn new artistic tools and techniques, and experience the joy of creative self-expression.

Emma comes to us from the Bristol Public Library, where she developed and facilitated makers’ workshops, art activities, coding clubs, and other STEAM programs for children and their families. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Library Services and Archivist at Chase Collegiate School, sharing the School’s rich history with the wider community and helping students and faculty use technology to better meet their teaching and learning goals. In addition to trying new crafts, Emma enjoys reading fantasy novels, gardening, and exploring hiking trails around the state with her husband and their adorable Italian Greyhound.
