Elizabeth has been a school counselor at Mason High School for the past three years. While there, she has advocated at the building and district levels for a comprehensive school counseling program that allows counselor more time to offer direct services and support for students. She has also advocated at the state level by providing testimony regarding the bill that would make the FAFSA a mandatory graduation requirement and participating in Legislative Education Day. Elizabeth's application will be forwarded to ASCA for consideration for National School Counselor of the Year.
