Clinical Instructor LaTavia Little, MSW '98, LCSW Little will be working on the new Substance Use Disorder Intervention Fellowship program, starting March 22, 2019. She comes to the UMSSW after serving more than 12 years as Executive Director at Treatment Resources for Youth in Baltimore.

Assistant Professor Christabel Cheung,

PhD, MSW

Cheung begins as an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, in July. With her MSW from UC Berkeley and her PhD from UC Los Angeles, Cheung has recently served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii, School of Social Work. Her area is oncology social work with a special interest in military social work.

Assistant Professor Roderick Rose, PhD, MA

Rose will begin as an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, in July. He earned his MA in economics and obtained his PhD in public policy from UNC where he has also served as a Research Assistant Professor. A Fellow of the Society for Social Work Research, Rose will be primarily teaching in the PhD program.

Assistant Professor Laurie Graham, MSW, ABD

Graham will begin as an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, in July. She has her MSW and will be earning her PhD from UNC in May. Graham's research agenda focuses on sexual violence and intimate partner violence perpetration prevention with a primary focus on marginalized and vulnerable communities.

Assistant Professor Jaih Craddock, MA, MSW, ABD

Craddock begins as an Assistant professor, tenure-track, in July. With her MSW from USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, Craddock has experience working with the LGBTQ communities and HIV prevention among young black women. Craddock also brings experience in network analysis.

Clinical Assistant Professor Mary Hodorowicz, MSW '07, PhD '18, LCSW-C

Hodorowicz will join us as a Clinical Assistant Professor. She has been teaching practice, research and policy courses full time in the MSW program since Fall 2018. She is a MINT recognized motivational trainer within university, agency, and community settings locally and internationally. She has served on the UMSSW's Diversity and Oppression Organization since 2015.

Clinical Assistant Professor Samantha Fuld DSW, LCSW-C (MD), LCSW (NY)

Currently a part of our Adjunct Faculty since 2017, Fuld will be a Clinical Assistant Professor beginning in July. She received her DSW from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Her teaching focuses on Cognitive Behavior Therapies. She has been teaching practice and human behavior courses in the MSW program for several years.

Clinical Assistant Professor Tamara Hicks, PhD, MSW

Hicks begins as a Clinical Assistant Professor in July. She has her graduate degrees from UNC and has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Johnson C. Smith University since 2016. Hicks has experience teaching foundation and advanced courses across the curriculum.

Alison Richman Professor for Children & Families Brenda Jones Harden, PhD, MSW

Brenda Jones Harden, MSW, PhD, will be, beginning in September 2019, our first Alison Richman Professor for Children and Families with tenure. Her MSW is from New York University and her PhD in Developmental and Clinical Psychology is from Yale. She comes to us from the University of Maryland-College Park as a Professor with many years of leadership in child welfare and early childhood mental health research.
