It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our much appreciated employee, Ann Croskey.

It is difficult to sum up Ann's contributions to the success of our Clare office. She will take many years of knowledge, which stems back to 1977, with her and will be greatly missed.

We invite you to stop by our Clare office as we honor Ann's years of hard work and dedication on her last day, Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

"After an incredible journey that began on August 1, 1977 when I first joined Schumacher's at the age of 18, I'm thrilled to announce that I will be retiring on August 1, 2024. Guerdon and Paula Schumacher hired me and over the years I have had the privilege of working alongside amazing colleagues and servicing an incredible community as we navigated the complex world of insurance together.

As I look forward to this new chapter, I'm eager to spend quality time with my husband Ron at our cabin, surrounded by the beauty of our property. I'm also excited to create cherished memories with my 16 grandchildren, indulge in camping adventures, lose myself in books, and enjoy the live performances of my husband's band. And who knows, maybe I'll even find a fun new hobby to explore (skydiving, anyone? Just kidding!)

Other structures coverage pays for damage to structures on your property that are not attached to your house. Also, helps pay for damage to structures such as a fence, swimming pool or guest house. Detached structures on your property are typically insured up to 10% of the amount of coverage on your home. Is this ENOUGH?
