Angel Reach is touching lives every day

OBTAINING HIS DREAM - A CLIENT'S STORY

He came to us about a year ago, being homeless most of his life. Although so anxious about moving in, he was ready for something new and some stability. A month after he moved in, he obtained his GED! And he had full-time employment! He received counseling and support from the housing and youth coach as we walked beside him, helping him cope with his anxieties. And where is he now? He’s working his dream job with animals and looking forward to being engaged soon. Emotionally stable, working towards financial independence …. What an honor to watch him thrive!

IRONMAN 2023 - WE WERE THERE!

As the athletes ran by, finishing their last grueling 26-mile run, Angel Reach Volunteers cheered them on. 3 shifts of volunteers offered water and encouragement. And you know what? Ironman Foundation awarded Angel Reach $7500 for working at the First Aid Station! Thank you to all who came out and helped make First Aid Station #5 the most enthusiastic and encouraging station ever! Your volunteering made a difference!

HE'S SO PROUD, AND WE ARE TOO!

Look out world, here comes a young man ready to serve the community! He's ready, showing his pride in receiving a Citizens Award from the Police Academy. We celebrate his dedication and success!

CLOCKS ANYONE?

What do you do when you have a large inventory of clocks and household goods given to Angel Reach? You welcome MIke and Dianne Rohm's enthusiasm to move the inventory! They are so dedicated to selling and raising funds for Angel Reach, that they took their fundraising skills on the road. Thank you Mike and Dianne, you are Angel Reach Angels!

These clocks were all given to Angel Reach in loving memory by Mr. Dale Sonnier. Wanting to make a difference in lives of our youth, he bequeathed his estate to Angel Reach, including his extensive clock collection of antique and cuckoo clocks. We are forever grateful for his thoughtfulness.

PAINTING WITH A FLAIR

Part of life skills is just learning to enjoy life, having fun with other people, and having the opportunity to express yourself in a positive way. Thank you, Connie, for leading an interactive and fun evening of painting with the youth.

RESOURCE CENTER VISITORS

It takes a community to bring change. Thank you, community partner, The Champions Project, for showing local teens what Angel Reach has to offer them. These young men will be turning 18 soon and are exploring their options. We hope that Angel Reach can help. We welcome these youth and look forward to watching them become the young men God intended them to be!

KINSHIP ART THERAPY

Kinship Caregivers received a special treat this month, having the opportunity to create some beautiful images with art therapy. It was amazing for our caregivers. So much creative and healing work was done, with burdens released off their hearts, all in a very safe space.
