Analysis of Ohio school voucher data by Andrew Wilson shows that enrollment in each type of voucher program has increased since fiscal year 2021.

Ohio has 5 types of voucher programs—EdChoice, EdChoice Expansion, Autism, Jon Peterson, and Cleveland. With one exception (Cleveland for one year), voucher enrollment has increased each year in all 5 voucher program types since fiscal year 2021 as indicated by the table provided.

Of course, the EdChoice voucher expansion scheme has increased the most rapidly, with a whopping 274.3% in fiscal year 2024 over fiscal year 2023.

The EdChoice scheme is destined to expand exponentially each year until it is ruled unconstitutional.

The constitutional provisions for education make it perfectly clear that the EdChoice voucher scheme is unconstitutional. The voucher lawsuit filed in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas addresses only the EdChoice voucher scheme. The trial date is November 4, 2024.
