Dear Community Leaders and Members of Anne Arundel County,
I hope everyone had a good holiday and is staying cool as we continue to experience hot weather.
Our office of Planning and Zoning has published feedback maps for Regions 5, 6, and 8, and there are only five days left to submit comments on the Draft Plans for Regions 1, 3, and 9. To review the plans or provide feedback, please visit aacounty.org/regions. These region plans will provide guidance for the County's land use policies over the next twenty years, so make sure your voice is heard!

Anne Arundel County Police Officers spend almost 5,000 hours doing Community Engagement in 2023 | |
|
The Anne Arundel Police Department (Police) recognizes it cannot effectively address crime in the community without engaging the community it serves and building positive relationships. Nor can the Department build and foster positive relationships if there is a lack of trust for the Department and a lack of support for law enforcement and public safety efforts. In CY2023, Police Officers spent an estimated 4,900 hours on community engagement. You can see this, and all the other great work Police and the other departments are doing, by visiting Department Performance on OpenArundel.
OpenPerformance is a piece of what is available on OpenArundel, a collection of tools, reports and data developed to empower county residents with information and to encourage civic engagement. We are interested in hearing from you and how you use the information available on OpenArundel. Please take a moment to tell us what you think by clicking here to fill out the survey.
