As we prepare to celebrate Earth Day on April 22, we are excited to share the progress we have made as an organization and with our global partners in creating a more sustainable talent mobility industry through the Coalition for Greener Mobility.

• Taking action: We launched the Coalition for Greener Mobility website to serve as a valuable resource for sustainability research and information for the global mobility industry. I encourage you to visit the site for the latest research and information, to learn how you can get involved in the work of the Coalition, and to contribute your views and ideas. You can also connect with us on LinkedIn.

• Driving the road map: After sessions and discussions at CERC, CHPA, EuRA, FIDI, IAM and WERC (GWS) conferences, as well as a webinar series earlier this year, we developed a sustainability road map to guide our work as an industry.

• Forging industry-informed resources: Working directly with global mobility professionals to understand actionable steps to be more sustainable as an industry, the Coalition identified working groups for our journey together. One working group has already made significant progress on developing a Glossary of Terms that will be available soon. To date, experts from approximately 100 organizations from around the globe have participated in working groups, labs and interviews to inform our work.



• Partnering for greater success: On behalf of our industry, CHPA submitted comments on the Global Business Travel Association's (GBTA) Accommodations Sustainability Matrix to ensure our sector's voice is heard. The Coalition’s activities complement the progress we have made with our own sustainability goals. CHPA hosted a sustainability webinar series last year, which included a new white paper. We also held roundtables focused on environmental sustainability at our annual conference. These were focused on tips and tricks to put aspirations into actions. Most recently, we partnered with Worldwide ERC to cohost the #EmbraceEquity event to expand beyond an environmental focus.
