HIF appoints new Executive Director, Robert Freiri
Welcome, Robert! 

Robert Freiri brings thirty years of experience with non-profit organizations in the Bay Area, most recently as Executive Director for Chamberlain's Children Center, a 40-year old program that counsels at-risk children, helping them develop skills for life-long success. Simultaneously, he served as principal at Keith Thompson, a non-public school which offers a highly specialized learning setting for special education students.

HIF Renovation Project : StarVista Daybreak
Wells Fargo volunteers in new Daybreak living room

HIF wrapped up September on a high note with an amazing renovation project! Joined by Corporate Champion Wells Fargo  and Project Captain Freestone Reconstruction , HIF completed a major transformation at StarVista Daybreak , which offers transitional living facilities for 10 homeless youth. The massive undertaking included plumbing, electrical, floor installation, gutting the bathrooms, built-ins, new furniture, and interior paint.
