With this summer edition of the Y-ADR newsletter, we're excited to let you know of a few Y-ADR events happening this month and to remind you that applications are closing soon to join the Y-ADR Steering Committee, the leadership group of CPR's Y-ADR initiatives. Apply by June 30, 2024!
Even as our current Y-ADR Steering Committee members prepare to take a summer hiatus, they are working hard to bring you more great programming for Fall 2024, including a multi-part ADR Skills training series, another exciting speed mentoring event, a second year of the popular Africa Arbitration Day- New York (which includes an arbitration moot for students), and many other programs designed for young professionals as part of CPR's flagship events.

- the consequences arising out of using the AI if it leads to inaccurate information or conclusions.

Diversity Task Force to Look at South Africa's Approach
CPR Institute invites the public to the National Task Force on Diversity Meeting on June 26th at 12:15 pm (ET) via Zoom. The topic is "Legislating Diversity: How South Africa Tackled the Challenge of Diversity in Labor/Employment Arbitration".
The speakers, Hilary Mofsowitz and Katy Khuduga, have both served as arbitrators on the largest public arbitration panel in South Africa and have deep knowledge of the training, mentoring and selecting of arbitrators in South Africa.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Comprehensive Course on International Arbitration | |
Registration is now open for the Columbia Law School and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) "Comprehensive Course on International Arbitration," taking place in New York City, September 9 - 12.
This four-day systematic and comprehensive examination of the law and practice of international arbitration includes lectures with interactive opportunities plus a number of engaging simulations. CPR Institute was pleased to present the ground-breaking new CPR Dispute Prevention and Management Board Rules at CanArbWeek 2024 in Toronto today, Monday, June 3rd in a program entitled “The In-House Counsel Wishlist: Practicalities of Utilizing Dispute Prevention and Management Boards.”
After opening remarks by Knar A.
