Is back! The Friends of the Library are once again sponsoring the annual celebration. Dr. Seuss would have been 108 on Friday March 2nd. In his honor, the Mayor and other guest readers will be sharing their favorite Seuss books with the children of Roxbury. Goodie bags courtesy of the Friends and yummy cupcakes from the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe will be given to each child. Space is limited for this popular event, so stop by the Youth Services Reference Desk or call (973)584-2400 x503 to register.

Spring Book Sale is Fast Approaching

According to the calendar Spring is just around the corner, although with Book Sorters the weather this week, it seems like it has already arrived. In a few short weeks, we will begin collecting books for the Spring Book Sale. Before we do, we need your help. We are looking for Friends interested in helping out with the Spring Sale. We will be holding a Sorter Orientation on Saturday March 31. If you are interested in helping, please e-mail us at FriendRoxburyLib@aol.com.

About Us

Founded in 1995, the purpose of the Friends of the Library is to stimulate community awareness and use of the Township's Public Library and to support the Library in developing its facilities. We foster support for the Library's programs, to aid in the purchase of media for the collections and equipment for the Library. The Friends also sponsor cultural and educational programs for the benefit of the membership and the community at large. To support these endeavors the Friends raise funds by holding used book sales, fundraisers and membership dues. Please consider contributing to the Friends to make our library the best that it can be.
