SMARTCHAIR XT
Over the past year, Walmart stores have purchased SmartChair XT's. The SmartChair XT is a comfortable, theft resistant chair that serves a variety of needs from small children with disabilities to adults with walking limitations.
The most common replacement parts for the SmartChair XT are the armrests, seat covers and basket signs. The chair's serial number can be found under the seat plate or on the left inner side of the brace under the seat.

All Gatekeeper key switches include two keys. When installing a switch, remember to include both keys as this will help avoid billing additional ones.
LABOR CHARGES AND IVR TIMES
We continue to have differences in labor charges from the IVR times in Service Channel. Please take extra care when charging labor time for tech services. Any differences will be brought to your attention and adjusted.
If you prefer skipping the process of being notified, you may authorize Amigo to adjust these times automatically.

MANUAL WHEELCHAIRS
When you're in a store for a service repair, be sure to inspect the manual wheelchairs while you're at it. You can add manual wheelchair repairs to electric shopping cart incidents by calling your Amigo dispatching tech with your completed information.
CONVEYOR REPAIRS
With the holiday season in full swing, expect an increase in requests for conveyor equipment repairs. For your reference, below are "before and after" photos of a repaired conveyor.

You may notice many Walmart/Sam's Club stores still use Aftersort brand conveyors. However, since these are becoming increasingly out of date, we suggest you ask your stores to purchase a new section on GNFR. If you still have parts in stock, please continue repairing them. Otherwise, all Aftersort conveyors should be considered "Do Not Repair" moving forward.
DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR (DO NOT REPAIR) LABELS
Remember to apply Damaged Beyond Repair labels on equipment that's determined Do Not Repair (DNR) before leaving the store. Also, remember that the batteries must be left in the equipment -- all batteries are the store's property and cannot be removed if the equipment is being DNR'd.
In July 2016 a revision was made to the label which added the sentence "Do not remove batteries!" Amigo has reviewed the purchasing records and if you have not purchased a roll of this new tape, we will place a roll in your next parts order at no charge. When you receive the new roll of tape, please replace the old with the new.
BAKERY CART WHEEL REPLACEMENT
For most cases involving bakery cart repairs, you should be able to replace just the wheel.
Replace the entire caster only if necessary.
