Dorothy Gray named Interim Chief Executive Officer

The American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) has named Dorothy (Dotty) Gray Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2024.

The AAVMC Leadership Academy will continue in hybrid format this year with two in-person meetings and monthly virtual sessions. Learn more about Leadership Academy here. The nomination process for 2024-2025 is now open and all nominations are received directly from the Office of the Dean or Head of School at our member institutions. Call for Veterinary Scholars Symposium (VSS) Abstracts is open

Attention Veterinary Research Community!!! The VSS Abstract Submission site is now open. You can access the site on the VSS webpage under the Abstract tab.

The deadline for submissions is July 16 at 11:59 PM EST. This is a hard deadline and there will be no changes or exceptions after the deadline has passed.

Mark your calendars for the Primary Care Veterinary Educators’ Symposium (PCVE) happening October 16th to 19th! We're thrilled to announce that this year's symposium will be hosted at The Ohio State University.

But that's not all! On October 15th, we'll kick off with the Shelter Medicine Veterinary Educators Symposium.

Stay tuned to aavmc.org because registration for both symposia will open soon. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to enhance your instructional practices in veterinary medical clinical education.
