HR Committee meets with DOLISA HCMC



This week the HR Committee held a lively panel discussion at the Reverie Saigon regarding the Labor Restructuring Process with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs (DOLISA). Present at the discussion were DOLISA's Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Bich from Labor-Salary-Social Insurance Office, Intel's ELL & SER Manager Ms. Yen Pham, and AmCham Vietnam HCMC Board Member and Baker McKenzie Partner Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang.The main topic of discussion was the labor utilization plan, of which Ms. Bich shared a thorough guideline including basic steps, key principles, and legal framework references. Our panel then went through several case studies and addressed real life questions from the audience.The event time was limited, but the audience's questions were extensive.
