Update from the Chair

The recently appointed Boards of Governors for HCMC from AmCham gathered for an energetic afternoon of brainstorming during our annual offsite strategy session on January 20. The session, skillfully facilitated by Van Ly, Partner of Raise Partners, provided a platform for collaborative discussions. The Board appreciated the Legal Committee Co-Chair Orsolya Szotyory-Grove, and F&B Committee Co-Chairs Vinh Nguyen and Minh-Ha Vu for sharing valuable insights into running their Committees effectively.

Following a productive session, the attendees enjoyed a breathtaking sunset view at the evening reception held at Sky Terrace on the 69th Floor of Vinpearl Landmark 81. It was a well-deserved reward after an afternoon of hard work.

We express our gratitude to the dedicated business leaders on our Board who generously contributed their time to enhance AmCham Vietnam's effectiveness in serving our members. With your continued support, we eagerly anticipate a dynamic and successful Year of the Dragon in 2024.

We hope you have already registered for our upcoming business lunch with Under Secretary Jose Fernandez on January 24th. Join us to gain insights into the U.S. government’s economic priorities in Vietnam and use the opportunity to share your perspectives on how the U.S. government can support the success of American businesses in the country.

Additionally, we encourage you not to miss AmCham's inaugural Connect & Cocktails for 2024, our regular networking event taking place tomorrow afternoon at WINK Saigon Hotel. Bring along plenty of business cards to connect and to mingle with other AmCham members and friends.

Your feedback is important to us. Please share your thoughts at team@amchamvietnam.com on how we can better serve you. Wishing you a great week ahead!
