Women make up almost half of total employment across non-STEM occupations, but just 29% of all tech-related roles.
For high-level leadership positions such as VP and C-suite, representation drops to 17.8% and 12.4%, respectively*.
Microsoft believes that if we are not unleashing the full potential of female tech talent, then businesses are missing out.
They want to change these statistics, which is why they want to inspire girls and women to take up their rightful places as the next generation of leaders in ICT.
