Join us: alumni and student pow wow set for May 9 to 11


Join us from Thursday, May 9th to Saturday, May 11th at the St Clair College Sportsplex and celebrate Indigenous cultures and community.



The free event will allow First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students and alumni to gather, including more than 1,000 Indigenous students from five local school boards.


The three-day event will include drumming, dancing, crafts, traditional food, and a special guest performance.

Faculty of Education Additional Qualification courses open for registration

 

The University of Windsor's Faculty of Education offers a variety of Continuing Teacher Education courses, including Additional Qualification courses, Additional Basic Qualification courses, the Principal’s Qualification Program, Technological Studies courses and the International Educator Certificate for International Baccalaureate Qualifications.

 

Registration for upcoming Additional Qualifications courses is now open:

  • Summer - Registration closes May 20, 2024
  • Fall - Registration closes September 22, 2024

Summer music program offerings from Continuing Education


The University of Windsor School of Creative Arts, in collaboration with Continuing Education, is offering immersive summer music programs welcoming beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level students: Summer Music (strings, ages 4-17), which runs from July 8-12, 9 am-3 pm, and Summer Jazz (instruments vary, ages 14+), which runs from July 15-19, 9 am-2 pm. Children and dependants of alumni can receive 10% off.

University of Windsor alumni are doing incredible things in their communities and around the globe, and we want to celebrate those contributions!




  • Alison Duke BHK ’89, MHK '91 has won the Don Haig award recognizing creative vision, entrepreneurship, and track record with emerging talent in Canada for a filmmaker with an entry in the Hot Docs Festival. Duke is the producer and co-writer of the 2024 selection A Mother Apart.
