Circle of Philanthropy Honorees Celebrated
Donna and Sam Wright ’64 were inducted into the esteemed Circle of Philanthropy — the School’s highest level of recognition — during McDonogh's Legacy Campaign Celebration on Tuesday, May 14. The couple was honored for their exceptional philanthropy, leadership, and lifelong commitment to "doing the greatest possible amount of good” for the School. Submit Nominations for the Distinguished Service and Young Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes McDonogh Family members who have devoted their time and effort most generously to the School. Award recipients will be selected by the Board of Trustees and honored during Reunion Weekend in April 2025. Submit your nomination by Friday, October 18.
The Young Alumni Award is presented annually to an alum graduating within the last 15 years who has made a significant contribution to McDonogh through engagement and volunteerism, while also positively impacting their profession and community. Medical Students Eligible for Scholarship
The Dunloggin Medical Scholarship Fund provides grants to McDonogh alumni who are currently enrolled in medical school in the United States. To be eligible, a student must have completed the first year of medical school. Scholarships are granted for one year and may be renewed twice, providing for three successive years of scholarship support. Apply by Sunday, September 1.
