Gift from the Class of 2023 Arrives at BA

We've had the metal knight, the Five Stars, and the yellow star (some say it looked like a banana). Members of the Class of 2023 made a great impact while on campus, and before leaving, decided to make a contribution that would help us continue to build school spirit. This past Friday, BA introduced a new mascot, the Blue Knight. When you return to BA for games, give the new mascot a high five and make sure to you send us photos! Send us suggestions for what we should name the new mascot.

Alumni Get-Togethers

Recently, we hosted alumni parties in Milwaukee and Dallas. The annual BA Alumni Christmas Party took place at Explorium Brewpub in the Third Ward. It was fun to see so many alumni in attendance. Congratulations to the 90s crew of Becky Daigneau '93 Grossman, Matt Jeide '92, and Susan York '91 Jeide for winning our BA trivia competition.

Three brave souls took part in the hot wing challenge. Charlie Wacholz '18 and Dustin Homan '10 were not able to successfully finish all six wings, but Josh Foltz, fiancé of BA alumna Claire Nowak '12, completed all six wings in less than two minutes.

In January, staff members from BA were in Texas for a conference and held a party in Dallas! Thank you to all who joined us for the event. It would have been perfect if the Packers had pulled off the upset victory over the 49ers, but everyone still had a good time. We look forward to continuing our regional alumni events in other cities.

Host an International Student

Brookfield Academy hosts more than a dozen international students each year. If you'd like to learn more or are interested in hosting an international student during the 2024-25 school year, please contact Aimee Nolasco '87 Weiner.
